River Oaks Breakfast Club, Fall Trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, October 21 to October 23, 2022

We have planned a Fall Trip to New Orleans.  We have booked a block of 30 rooms at the Hotel Monteleone,  and we are advised we can get more if we book quickly.  We have attached the (click for details) hotel information. The rate is $279 for a King bedroom.  If you prefer an upgrade you must ask, and if you  have special needs you must advise them.  The hotel reservations must be attended by each member, including payment, or penalty, if applicable.  Check in on Friday is 3pm and check out on Sunday is 11am, so if you require a different time you should confirm that with the hotel.  IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND PLEASE ADVISE GARNEY GRIGGS @ GGRIGGS@CLARKHILL.COM.

United and Delta have several non-stop flights available now at good rates.  Southwest will not have its October schedule and rates until March 3, 2022. Of course, you may also drive or make other travel arrangements

Friday night we will have cocktails and dinner at Antoine’s at 6:30PM.   We will be in the Main Dining Room, which is actually a private room with its own entrance.  We will be requesting menu selections in time, and please provide us now any dietary requirements.  Coat, no tie, and cocktail attire, but you may dress up if you choose.

Saturday morning at 10am we will have a bus drive all who wish to the World War II Museum, tickets will be available at Will Call.  Covid prevents a special tour or docent lecture, but we understand it is an outstanding museum with many new exhibits.   If you wish to have lunch nearby there are a number of very good restaurants.  The bus will depart at 2pm and return to the hotel.  WE NEED A COUNT NOW SO WE MAY ARRANGE AS NECESSARY.

Saturday night at 6:30PM we will have cocktails and dinner at Brennan’s in the Havana Room.  We will be requesting menu selections in time, and please provide us now any dietary requirements. Coat, no tie, and cocktail attire, but you may dress up if you choose.

Sunday departure.  Because of so many dining options for breakfast, brunch and lunch, we are leaving much of the trip open for your visiting, shopping and eating choices.  If you would like to have a departure breakfast or brunch, please advise us now.

We will be requesting a trip deposit in time.  In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments, please contact Garney Griggs ggriggs@clarkhill.com.   We would very much like to have a very good crowd for this trip and hope we have more than 30.  As requested above please send Garney a note if you do plan to attend and make your hotel and travel plans soon.
